Kenny is a CORU Registered Physiotherapist (PT040318), having graduated from The Institute of Physical Therapy and Applied Science (IPTAS) in 2019.
Previously, Kenny worked as a massage therapist where he specialised in Traditional Thai Massage. This was after spending time studying in various schools in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Passionate about health, and helping others reach their health goals, Kenny launched Metta Physical Therapy. The foundation of the business is “metta”, or put more simply, “compassion”, because everyone has their own story that has led them to Metta Physical Therapy for treatment. Every treatment and rehab plan is as unique as the person requiring it.
In the world of physiotherapy, things are always changing due to better testing, new clinical trials, new technology, or even simply new perspectives. Kenny is continuously studying the latest research to always offer clients best-practice techniques. Since graduating he has developed his interest in the biopsychosocial model, and studied mindfulness, yoga, and breathing practice.
When not treating clients, Kenny can be found climbing, or training for climbing – It’s an obsession… a healthy obsession!
No one can understand climbing injuries like a climbing physio, so if you spot him on the wall, stop and say hello!
